Milan suffered yet another surprising defeat last weekend as they visited Sassuolo and lost out with the 4:3 result. Even more worrying and frustrating for them is that they had a 2:0 lead after thirteen minutes into the game, but found a way to lose the game completely.
Only two minutes after a 2:0 lead, the hosts reduced the deficit and even managed to score two more goals in the first halftime for complete overturn. All four goals for the home team were scored by Berardi, while the visitors only managed to reduce the deficit to 4:3 four minutes till the full time whistle. At least, the atmosphere has been improved slightly with a 3:1 victory in Cup game over Spezia few days ago. In any way, many things are not working well in their team at the moment and it’s yet to be seen whether they will find a way to earn a European spot till the end of the season. Finally, after the defeat in Sassuolo, Seedorf has been appointed as the coach and should surely bring at least some improvement when talking about atmosphere in the locker room.
Home side will be without midfielder Muntari (12/4) who is suspended, while they also miss left back Constant (9/0), offensive midfielder El Shaarawy (4/0) and right back Abate (11/1), all three being already long term absentees.

Verona didn’t look like a team from previous weeks as they welcomed Napoli last weekend and succumbed to a 3:0 defeat without giving much of the resistance. They created little and weren’t efficient in these changes, while the guests simply knew what they wanted during the game and achieved the three pointer easily.
It was first defeat for them in four matches, where they had three victories and a draw, while the team slipped one position down and is currently at sixth place, tied together with Inter which is occupying Europa League ticket. No doubt that everyone would want to get the European ticket, but for the moment it is truth that the side just enjoys great moments in the league and doesn’t look much further that that. As always, they are expected to play quite offensively with Toni at the top of attack. Few of their players are close to be fully fit, so the coach actually has quite a full roster to choose from. Only absentee will be substitute right midfielder Sala (3/0).
Milan is a favorite here, but with their unreliable performances, more than shaky defense and coach change, there is no reason to get involved with the prediction of final outcome. On the other side, they will have to attack surely, a fact that will leave enough space for Verona to break them at least once. Something that should lead to very open game from both ends, with both teams scoring at least once.
