West Brom suffered yet another defeat on the road, as they are coming from a 3:1 loss away to Crystal Palace. Once again, the team has showed very little, not enough to convince anyone that they can stay in the Premier League. In four matches with Pepe Mel on their bench, they have no victory and earned only two points with a fair amount of luck.
It were draws against Everton and Liverpool, while the side could fell very lucky with both points. In any way, it seems that appointment of Pepe Mel didn’t bring anything positive in their club, as the side lost unique opportunity to get points against direct rival in a relegation battle. Currently, they are only a point away from the safe zone and still, despite all the disadvantages, have a chance to stay in the league. West Brom has won previous two matches against Chelsea at home, but there is no doubt that tonight’s game will be even tougher for them. Striker Anelka (12/2) injured his knee against Aston Villa and will miss out, same as offensive midfielder Sessegnon (15/2) and defender Olsson (23/1). Questionable is right back Jones (18/0) with chances to play.

Chelsea is coming from a 3:0 victory at home over Newcastle, as it seems that the victory in a derby game in previous weekend, away to Manchester City has changed the psychology of Chelsea players. Hazard was star of the night with a hat-trick against Newcastle, in a game where the visitors actually had some good chances too.

Everything except easy victory for Chelsea will be a huge surprise here, as the home side doesn’t really look like a true Premier League side at the moment. On the other side, Chelsea is most in-form team at the moment and should really have no problems getting all three points tonight.
