Midtjylland has put up an excellent show in previous round, defeating Esbjerg with a 2:0 result at home two weeks ago. Victory came in an fair manner, as the hosts got stronger into the game, scoring their first goal already after 12th minute.
Beyond that, they missed several great opportunities to take the double lead. However, in the first minutes of the second half their opponent was threatening, which awakened them up and they were in control once again, reaching the second goal in the final minutes of the game. They were in excellent form before the break, with four consecutive victories. As a result of that, the team is at the top of the table with two points above their closest followers, while the target for today’s game is easy victory. Central defender Francis Dickoh (5/0) is injured, same as Christian Nielsen (5/1), while outside of this game will also be midfielder Peter Anderson (4/1) and Paul Onuachu (5/1) all injured.

Odense, on the other side, comes from a positive performance at home against Copenhagen, but still they were defeated narrowly with a 0:1 result. They entered the game well, had some opportunities to score, but the opponent was more effective scoring the only goal in the delays of the first half.
