Fair was the final 2:1 home victory of Sandnes last Wednesday evening over Stabaek. Home side was simply more active on the field, looked like they know what they wanted and despite early goal and conceding equalizer in 62nd minute, significant number of chances missed for the 2:0 result, they sealed the victory with a goal fifteen minutes before the full time whistle.
After two consecutive defeats in previous weeks, against Molde and Odd, Stabaek returned to positive ways with a 2:1 home victory over Bodo Glimt, but this latest result once again cut their wings. Coach Bradley will not be able to count at injured central defender Jurgen Hammer who is long term absentee, while doubtful is central midfielder Craig Henderson (4/1) who came this Winter from Mjallby.

Valarenga showed probably their best face yet in the season, as the team managed to get a 3:0 home victory over current champions from Stromsgodset. Both teams had many opportunities to score, while the hosts were surprisingly effective and fairly took the victory.
