Specs for BlackBerry Jakarta possibly outed by benchmark site

The BlackBerry Jakarta is one of the low-end models being designed, manufactured and shipped for BlackBerry by Foxconn. The contract manufacturer inked a five-year pact with the Canadian based BlackBerry to provide everything but the software for the low-end devices. That will be left for BlackBerry to provide.



One of the first handsets to be produced under the agreement between Foxconn and BlackBerry is a device codenamed the BlackBerry Jakarta that is rumored to be coming to market sans a QWERTY keyboard.
