An abandoned newborn baby was found on Thursday at a road construction site in Ikorodu, Lagos. WARNING: The photo below is of a dead newborn baby. Viewer discretion is adviced. The baby might have been delivered in the early morning hours, as it was covered in placenta and fresh blood. The body was wrapped in a lace material. Some eyewitnesses who gathered around the small lifeless body said the baby was discovered still alive but died before help came, while others stated the baby was already dead when it was found.
