Leaked document shows Verizon offering $100 credit on new lines from today through the end of the month

A leaked internal Verizon document reveals that the nation's largest carrier has a new promotion beginning today, and running through the end of this month. Activate a new line and handcuff yourself to it by signing a two-year contract, and Verizon will give you $100 in the form of a bill credit. The $100 won't hit your account until the third billing cycle, so you will have to stick with Big Red for at least 90 days before getting your reward.



And there is more. Until February 17th, Verizon will waive the $35 activation charge on new lines. Sounds like some of the recent consumer friendly moves by T-Mobile and AT&T have lit a fire under Verizon.



Keep in mind that Verizon has yet to make an announcement about these special offers, but if the leak is legit, the carrier should be making some sort of announcement no later than Friday.
