Do Many Nigerian Girls Lack Courtesy?

I put it as a fact because I ve got numerous encounters to proove it. It has always been happening, so let me outline some that annoyed me. Back in school. I stopped talking with a girl who was a good friend. it was after exams. we were suppose to go out and spend sometime somewhere. she told me that she was not going to any party and I am also not a fan of parties. so on that day, I kept calling her, she did not pick up because she later went to the cinema and from there to a party. Before, she was fond of using the excuse of her fone being switched off. But on this day, I kept calling and left a whole lot of missed calls spread throughout the day. she did not pick. I am not against her fun, or change of mind. But I am not a fool for calling. I felt bad actually, but I gently did not show it. So I simply cut off contacts with her and she did the same with me. What annoys me the most is the idea of how many women/girls can choose not to pick calls or return misscalls from people espescially when you are in good terms. and you feel you can give any escuse to the guy and expect hin to just take it.

Another is the usual habbit of a lady not returning missed calls in urgent situations. I am not talking about a guy stalking/disturbing. I mean a friend. Like you are to see a girl today. she didnt recieve your calls unintentionally. But what I dont like is the idea of not calling back. They feel that he will call back. I think courtesy demands that we try returning calls to whoever we missed their calls. I think this is a norm amongst many Nigerian girls. This ego/pride with being a lady which comes especially when they are being chased by a lot of men and this blinds them from showing respect with simple courtesy. I ve lost some female friends to that and in other situations, I try telling them politely. And two of them are now on me. But whenever I remember our pasts. I get disgusted and dont want to have any thing to do with them. So what are your contributions to this? Please drop your comments below...
