Chime, Enugu PDP Support Mu’azu’s Pledge To Stop Imposition Of Candidates

MUAZU-2-620x330Governor Sullivan Chime and other leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Enugu State have expressed satisfaction with the pledge by the newly appointed National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu that under his leadership, there would be no imposition of candidates.

Mu’azu made the promise during a solidarity visit to him by Governor Chime and the leadership of PDP in the state on Monday.

“If you want anything from the party, then you must go back to your people and it is what they decide that will stand”, Muazu had pledged.

Chime said the PDP national chairman’s stance was bound to change the fortunes of the party and rid it of the persistent crises that had continued to bedevil it.

According to the Enugu State governor, Mr. Mu’azu’s declaration tallied with his own personal belief that the surest way for the party to reposition itself and eliminate opposition was for the leadership to adhere strictly to the dictates of its constitution in its entire doings.
