Even though their only defeat in the New Year came against the Raptors, I believe these odds are a bit too high. The Raptors have traveled to Brooklyn without DeRozan who is their most important player, apart from Lowry. Ross did great against the Clippers but I don’t think the Clippers’ defense is nowhere near the same level as the one the Nets have been playing lately, so it’s very difficult to expect a new performance by this guy.
Even though his team may not be brilliant in offense, coach Kidd’s first 5 has been very tough lately and the bench with Williams and Blatche brings in a lot of energy. Even though it’s just half-season, the Nets could really use a win ere as it would put them only half a game behind the top team in their division, something which seemed like mission impossible a month ago.

Just how much they want to win is witnessed in the Blatche’s statement that it’s time to repay the debt, and I believe the Raptors without DeRozan are a good chance to take.
